गोंडपिंपरी महामार्गालगत सर्विस रोड व शहराबाहेर बायपास निर्मितीची मागणी
गडचिरोली/चंद्रपूर: सुरजागड लोह खनिज प्रकल्प कार्यान्वीत झाले असल्याने महाराष्ट्र शासनाने सुरजागड ते बल्हारशाह रेल्वे लाईन निर्मिती करीता केंद्र शासनाकडे पाठपुरावा करावा यासाठी प्रकल्प व्यवस्थापनाकडून 50 टक्के वाटा घेवून राज्य व केंद्राच्या माध्यमातून प्रत्येकी 25 टक्के आर्थिक तरतूद करुन या रेल्वे लाईनचा प्रलंबित प्रश्न मार्गी लावावा अशी मागणी पूर्व केंद्रीय गृहराज्यमंत्री हंसराज अहीर यांनी राज्याचे मुख्यमंत्री व उपमुख्यमंत्र्यांना पत्राद्वारे केली आहे. लाॅयड मेटल्स या कंपनीद्वारे सुरजागड प्रकल्पातील लोह खनिजाची वाहतूक रात्रंदिवस जड वाहनांनी केली जाते.
शेकडोच्या संख्येतील वाहने रहदारीच्या मार्गाने कच्च्या मालाची वाहतूक करीत असल्याने अपघातांच्या प्रमाणात मोठी वाढ झाली असून या अपघातांमुळे लोकांमध्ये प्रचंड रोष व आक्रोश व्यक्त केला जात आहे. त्यामुळे सुरजागड-बल्हारशाह रेल्वे लाईनची निर्मिती होणे आवश्यक असल्याचे अहीर यांनी म्हटले आहे.
1997 सालापासून या रेल्वेलाईनचा विषय अहीर यांनी लोकसभेत उपस्थित केला होता. त्यांच्या सतत प्रयत्नामुळे केंद्रीय अर्थसंकल्पात सन 2007-08 मध्ये प्राथमिक सर्वेक्षणाकरीता मान्यता देण्यात आली होती हे विशेष! सुरजागड येथील जड वाहतुकीमुळे अपघातांचा प्रश्न ऐरणीवर आल्यामुळे लोह खनिजाच्या सुलभ वाहतुकीसाठी आता राज्यशासनाने सुरजागड-बल्हारशाह रेल्वे लाईनकरिता पुढाकार घ्यावा व केंद्रशासनाकडे पाठपुरावा करावा अशी मागणी अहीर यांनी सदर पत्रातून केली आहे.
सुरजागड प्रकल्पातून कच्च्या मालाची वाहतूक करणाऱ्या जड वाहनांमुळे अनेक निष्पाप लोकांचे बळी गेले आहेत. दिवस रात्र सुरु असलेली ही वाहतूक चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यातील गोंडपिपरी या शहरातून गेलेल्या राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग क्र. 353 बी वरुन होत असल्याने तालुक्याचे स्थान असलेल्या या शहरातील नागरिकांचे जीवन या जड वाहतुकीमुळे धोक्यात आले आहे. या शहरांमधेही आतापर्यंत अनेक अपघात घडले आहेत. त्यामुळे या महामार्गालगत सर्व्हिस रोड ची निर्मिती करुन लोकांना धोकादायक ठरलेल्या वाहतुकीपासून संरक्षण देण्यात यावे. गोंडपिपरी शहरात सर्विस रोड व बायपास ची उभारणी करावी.
ही जड वाहतुक अनेक शहरातुन व लगतच्या गावामधून होत असल्याने लोकांच्या सुरक्षिततेकरिता आवश्यकतेनुसार सव्र्हीस रोडची उभारणी करण्याची मागणी करुन गोंडपिपरी शहराची वाढती लोकसंख्या, वाढती रहदारी व या तालुक्यात शासकीय व अन्य कामकाजाकरिता येणाऱ्या ग्रामीण भागातील नागरिकांना सुरक्षितता प्रदान करण्यासाठी गोंडपिपरी शहराबाहेरुन नव्या बायपास रोडची उभारणी करण्यात यावी अशी विनंती हंसराज अहीर यांनी मुख्यमंत्री व उपमुख्यमंत्री यांना लिहिलेल्या पत्रातुन केली आहे.

Demand for construction of service road along Gondpimpri highway and bypass outside the city
Gadchiroli/Chandrapur: Since the Surjagad iron ore project has been operationalized, the Maharashtra government should follow up with the central government for the construction of the Surjagad to Balharshah railway line by taking 50 per cent share from the project management and providing 25 per cent financial provision each through the state and central government to clear the pending issue of this railway line. Former Union Minister of State for Home Hansraj Ahir has written to the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of the state. Iron ore from Surjagad project is transported by heavy vehicles day and night by Lloyd Metals. As hundreds of vehicles are transporting raw materials on the road, there has been a huge increase in the number of accidents and people are expressing great anger and outrage due to these accidents. Ahir has said that it is necessary to build the Surjagad-Balharshah railway line.
Since 1997, Ahir raised the issue of this railway line in the Lok Sabha. It is special that due to their continuous efforts, approval was given for the preliminary survey in the Union Budget in the year 2007-08! As the issue of accidents due to heavy traffic in Surjagad has come to the fore, Ahir has demanded in the said letter that the state government should take the initiative for the Surjagad-Balharshah railway line and follow up with the central government for easy transportation of iron ore.
Heavy vehicles transporting raw material from Surjagad project have killed many innocent people. This traffic is going on day and night through National Highway No. Gondpipari in Chandrapur District. As the 353 is coming from B, the lives of the citizens of this town where the taluka is located are in danger due to this heavy traffic. Many accidents have happened in these cities so far. Therefore, people should be protected from dangerous traffic by constructing a service road along this highway. Service road and bypass should be constructed in Gondpipari city.
As this heavy traffic is coming from many cities and nearby villages, for the safety of the people, it is requested to construct a new bypass road outside Gondpipari city to provide safety to the increasing population of Gondpipari city, increasing traffic and the citizens of rural areas who come to this taluk for government and other work. Hansraj Ahir wrote a letter to the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.
