चंद्रपूर १७ ऑगस्ट : चंद्रपूर शहर महानगरपालिकेतर्फे शहरातील मोकाट जनावरांचा बंदोबस्त करण्याची मोहीम सुरू करण्यात आली असुन जनावरांना मोकाट ठेऊन वाहतुकीस अडथळा निर्माण करणाऱ्या जनावरांच्या मालकांवर दंडात्मक कारवाई व प्रसंगी फौजदारी कारवाई सुद्धा करण्यात येणार आहे.
चंद्रपुर शहरातील मुख्य तसेच इतर मार्गांवर, रस्त्यांवर मोकाट जनावरे ठाण मांडून बसून राहात असल्याने वाहनधारकांचा अपघात होण्याची शक्यता अधिक असते. याबाबत मनपातर्फे यापुर्वीही कारवाई करून जनावरांच्या मालकांना समज देण्यात आली आहे.समज दिल्यानंतर काही काळ ते आपल्या जनावरांवर लक्ष देऊन ते रस्त्यावर येणार नाही याची काळजी घेतात,मात्र त्यानंतर पुन्हा जनावरांना मोकाट सोडुन देण्यात येते असे निदर्शनास आले आहे.
त्यामुळे आयुक्त विपीन पालीवाल यांनी यावर गंभीर स्वरूपाची कारवाई करण्याचे निर्देश दिले आहेत. जनावरांच्या मालकांनी आपल्या जनावरांचा योग्य बंदोबस्त करावा, अन्यथा प्रथम दंडात्मक व आवश्यकता भासल्यास फौजदारी कारवाई सुद्धा केली जाणार आहे. याकरीता मनपाच्या उपद्रव शोध पथकांची यावर नजर राहणार असुन सातत्याने वाहतुकीस अडथळा निर्माण करणाऱ्या जनावरांच्या मालकांची नोंद घेऊन त्यावर कारवाई केली जाणार आहे.

Chandrapur August 17: Chandrapur City Municipal Corporation has started a campaign to deal with stray animals in the city and punitive action will be taken against the owners of animals who obstruct the traffic by keeping the animals free and sometimes criminal action will be taken.

There are more chances of accidents for motorists due to the presence of loose animals on the main roads and other roads of Chandrapur city. The Municipal Corporation has already taken action and given understanding to the owners of the animals. After giving the understanding, they watch their animals for some time and make sure that they do not come on the road, but after that, it has been pointed out that the animals are released again.

Therefore, Commissioner Vipin Paliwal has directed to take serious action on this. Animal owners should take proper care of their animals, otherwise first punitive and if necessary criminal action will be taken. For this, the Municipal Nuisance Investigation Teams will keep an eye on the matter and action will be taken against the owners of animals who are constantly obstructing the traffic.
